Château Villefranche are one of the oldest properties in Sauternes, located in the Haut-Barsac sub-region. The unique climate of the Sauternes region encourages consistent botrytis rot, resulting in shrivelled grapes with intensely concentrated juice and sugars. A blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. Aromas of tropical and candied fruit intertwined which rich notes of vanilla. A luscious mouthfeel balanced by sharp acidity, offers a crisp and pleasant finish.
